Colors of Summer – Sky Blue

Following the successful summer concerts Iridescence (2022) and Sonnengelb (2023 & 2025), 2026 will bring another colorful edition. The concept of Sky Blue explores the moment between day and night, between hope and resignation, between security and risk.
Courageously and confidently, the eleven-member ensemble interprets a diverse program and takes on the challenge of performing entirely from memory. The centerpiece of the summer evening is Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings. The program is complemented by short duos and improvisations by individual musicians between the movements. In this way, transitions are created, and works are atmospherically linked. Also on the program: the pieces “For a Moment” and “Daylight” by British composer Isabell Waller-Bridge.
