After the overwhelming response to the Schmusechor’s first two queer-feminist New Year’s concerts, this could have become a habit. But why let beauty freeze when it thrives in motion? A new year is not enough, we need a real fresh start – and with it a newly established tradition. inn.wien once again follows the invitation of the Schmusechor – this time to the Volkstheater Wien!
With SCHMUSE*PASSION, the Schmusechor transforms Passiontide into a contemporary ritual full of sound, body and community. Between performance, pop and contemporary composition, an immersive experience is created that redefines closeness and connection. The focus is on works by women* and queer artists, which the collective reinterprets and rethinks.
